Bacoor Youth Summit successful
TRECE MARTIRES, Cavite-- The City Government of Bacoor recently initiated the Bacoor Youth Summit held at the Bacoor Government Center Strike Gymnasium that gathered some 3,000 high school students.
The summit aims to help the youth with messages of encouragement, inspiration and information to help them face and deal with various issues that affect them. Mayor Lani Mercado and Vice Governor Jolo Revilla welcomed
the young participants in red shirts bearing the words“ Kabataang Bacooreño”.
Several resource speakers representing different sectors in society like the government sector with Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman, the country’ s first transgender woman elected to Congress spoke about the“ Anti- Bullying Act” and encouraged the youths to help eradicate bullying in school.
Also from the government sector, Vice Governor Revilla, who organized the Summit, shared his experience of being a young father at age 15 and urged the participants to stay in school and strive to pursue their education.

Councilor Remulla sworn in as the new councilor of Indang after the demise of Councilor Teofila Atas. QUEZON CITY-- State weather bureau PAGASA on Friday raised public awareness and compliance to use the Philippine Standard Time( PhST) through its media and government agency partners.
“ We encourage the public to synchronize their timepieces with the Philippine Standard Time. Our agency displays the official time on its website, www. pagasa. dost. gov. ph,” Administrator Dr. Vicente Malano said in observance of the National Time Consciousness Week held every first week of the year.

Governor Boying Remulla thanked the officers and members of the Department of Trade and Industry- Cavite, Department of Labor and Employment-Cavite,
