Getting to Anderson Ranch
Getting to Anderson Ranch – The most convenient way to get to
Anderson Ranch is to fly into the Pitkin County Airport in Aspen
(ASE). Travel discounts to Aspen on United Airlines, our preferred
carrier, are available only through Frosch Travel of Aspen. Please
contact Wendy at 866/594-2305 or 970/925-1645 (Monday through
Friday, 9 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 - 5 pm Mountain time) or by email
at [email protected].
Van service from Denver International Airport (DEN) is available
through Colorado Mountain Express (800/525-6363 or 970/754-7433
or online at www.cmex.com). Several airlines also have summer
service into Eagle County Airport (EGE), which is about 90 minutes
driving time from Anderson Ranch. However you would need to rent
a car since ground transportation to the Snowmass Village area is not
available in the summer.
Scholarship Opportunities
Anderson Ranch is dedicated to offering opportunities to promising artists
and increasing access to our programs for a diverse group of participants.
Applications for scholarship support are encouraged. Specific scholarships
are funded by Ranch supporters, both individuals and foundations, either
through endowed funds or special gifts. We are grateful for these important gifts. A complete list of supporters is available in our Annual Report.
Applicants are encouraged to address the following points in their
cover letters, since scholarship applications are reviewed based on:
• Artistic merit
• Potential for artistic development through our programs
• Diversity including age, geographic location, ethnic background
• Financial need
Most scholarship awards cover part or all of the tuition; the registration
fee, studio fee, housing, meals, travel and supplies are the responsibility
of the participant.
There is targeted funding for graduating high school seniors, currentlyenrolled undergraduate and graduate students. You must check the appropriate box on the application form in order to be considered.
