18 New to the Ranch in 2013: Trustees AndersonRanch arts center NEW TO THE RANCH IN 2013: TRUSTEES JANICE BECK Janice Beck received a B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of WisconsinMadison. She currently serves on the Field Museum Women’s Board, the Board of Directors of PAWS Chicago, the Writers Theatre Board of Trustees, the Chicago Horticultural Society Women’s Board, the Children’s Home and Aid Women’s Board, and the Garden Guild of Winnetka. She also is a past president of the Northwestern University Settlement House North Shore Women’s Board. Janice and her husband, Phil, have three sons and three dogs. Janice spends winters in Aspen and summers in Illinois and loves to ski and travel. RONA CITRIN Rona Citrin received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University. She was a Vice President of Citicorp for twelve years. Currently, Rona serves on the Board of Trustees at the Aspen Art Museum.  Additionally, she is involved in various capacities at arts and educational institutions including the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; the Tang Museum at Skidmore College; and Dartmouth College.  Rona and her husband, Jeff, have three children and live in Greenwich, Connecticut, New York City, and Aspen, Colorado. ANN COOK Ann Cook has been a professional art consultant to private individuals, institutions and corporations for over 25 years. She began her career at Sothebys and then worked for several New York City contemporary art galleries. Prior to forming her own business, Ann Cook Fine Art, LLC, Ann was a partner and Director at the famed Willard Gallery in New York City.  Ann brings her love and enthusiasm for contemporary art as well as her years of experience to her new Board position at Anderson Ranch. SUE HOSTETLER Sue Hostetler is the Editor-in-Chief of Art Basel Magazine and has written for many other publications on architecture, art and design. Sue is also a consultant to the website art.sy, creating strategic partnerships with private collections, foundations and institutions, as well as producing original content about the contemporary art world. Sue is the author of three books and has served as the executive editor on a book on UN-designated World Heritage Sites in India, among many other projects. Sue attended Southern Methodist University and the Art Institute of Chicago. JAMES G. OATES Jim Oates is retired past president and board member of the Leo Group (a holding company for Leo Burnett Worldwide). During his tenure at Leo Burnett, he served on the Board of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, The Advertising Council, and the Dean’s Advisory Boards of the Kellogg School of Management and the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Jim has served on the boards of the Crested Butte Music Festival, the President’s Advisory Board of Western State Colorado University, and acted as a consultant to many local Gunnison not-for-profit organizations. A native of Kenton, Ohio, Jim currently resides with his wife, Sue, in Gunnison, Colorado.
