My Petulant Dog

my dog quite usually runs
he does it with such speed
and usually to us he shuns
as he does his dogly deeds
he thinks of us as mean
as we chase him by the day
we often make a scene
while he laughs and runs away
he often runs quite far
all while he runs around
he sets quite a bar
while making lots of sound
plans we often hatch
usually ends up in a snatch
