Yet again the facts are obscured with smokescreen antisemitism with conspiracy theories blaming us for society ’ s woes
What we need is more mensches like Mordechai who walk tall and proud refusing to bow down to evil
We cannot be shushed as in Shushan cannot mask our eyes to avoid rampant antisemitism cannot attempt to drink away the problem this Purim
Instead
we must open our mouths to denounce bigotry and hate open our eyes to today ’ s harsh realities we must drink up the support of our community and allies
Let ’ s not base our fate on the casting of lots we can ’ t rely on chance we must take a chance , a stand
Let ’ s lift up our groggers , our voices to drown out discrimination to sing a song of freedom
