In the days of Esther and Mordechai , When evil sought to destroy us , In Your abundant mercy , You brought miracles To save Your people .
God of miracles , Ancient and new , We do not wait for signs and wonders . We take these as our sacred tasks : Redeeming hostages , Defending Israel , Fighting antisemitism , Pursuing justice , Building peace . Still , we yearn for Your mighty hand And outstretched arm To bring us blessings and miracles Hidden or revealed .
