would you like to see something strange? “Wonwoo.” Soonyoung’s lilting voice makes him shift his attention for a few second. Wonwoo mouths a soundless ‘Hold on’ before bringing back his full attention to Cerberus. He stretches his hand to stroke one of its many heads. “Bite whoever that pass through this gate, okay?” he says gently. A laughter escapes his lips when he catches Cerberus’ left head rolls its eyes, as if saying ‘You’ve been saying that for thousand years, of course we know what to do’. Wonwoo gives each of its heads a final pat before he goes, “Good boy.” “Wonwoo, hurry up,” it’s Jihoon’s voice this time, and it means he has to go now. He steps out from the gate, from his home to the strange world of human. For him, the human world is equally foreign as human thought how Underworld would be. Wonwoo walks closer to his fellow demigods and says, “No chaos.” “No chaos,” Soonyoung echoes. There’s a hint of hidden canine smile on his face but that’s because of Halloween mood and Wonwoo knows he means no harm. “No chaos,” Jihoon echoes, one beat late. He sniffs, as if the air around human world offends him. “Hurry up. The others are waiting.” Wonwoo nods at that. Three of them walk forward and all kind of monsters and ghosts who have been lining up, make a way for the boys. Even a few of ghosts bow politely when they meet their eyes. Of course, they’re the sons of Underworld Gods. There’s a lump of black smoke tailing after Soonyoung and he grins at that. The smoke turns its shape into a jackal-like, dancing around the son of Anubis’ feet. He leaves the scent of lily after his wake, wafting through the air and it reminds you of a funeral. Soonyoung’s grin grows wider as they reach the frontline, his face is now shifting between jackal and human. He twirls the ankh pendant on his leather choker, excited for this year’s Halloween as always.
