YEEZY

Season 4

is upon us

Since the success of Season 1, we look at what Kanye West has in store for the future..

Unveiled at New York Fashion Week, Yeezy Season 4 collection (above right) is already buzzing among fashion bloggers and magazines worldwide. The new Spring/Summer 2017 clothing from Kanye West is classic of previous seasons in all its minimalist glory.

The continuation of nude tones and tight-fitting lurex can be seen from season 1 through to 4, however, as with all iconic fashion crazes, High-Street brands such as Topshop and Zara, along with online clothing stores Boohoo and Missguided have began featuring "copycat" Yeezy items and at much more affordable prices, are consumers leaving Mr West on the shelf?

Season 3 landed in online and physical retailers across the world on Nov 4th and surprisingly is still widely in stock. 'Ye has previously promised lower prices to fulfil his vision of availibility for everyone, but it's taken him 2 seasons to lower the prices and it seems everyone has lost interest.

Meanwhile the merch from his album The Life of Pablo sold out within minutes at pop-up stores - so is it the vast availibility that is putting people off the Yeezy collection - the idea of every Ed, Edd and Eddy wearing it tends not to appeal to the modern fashionista in a world where a new pair of trainers can sell out within seconds. Kanye might have bitten off more than he can chew with this one.
