Iyad Madanat, GM Phoenix Contact Middle East (left), and Marwan Abdelaziz Janahi, Managing Director Dubai Science Park New contact point for customers in the Middle East The new Middle East headquarters has opened in Dubai Not a fairy tale from One Thousand and One Nights, but a festive opening: At the beginning of March, the new contact point for customers from all over the Middle East was inaugurated in Dubai. The new Middle East headquarters is located in the Dubai Science Park Towers. This means that the contact persons from Phoenix Contact are much easier for their customers and partners to reach, since they are now located much more centrally. The modern and prestigious office buildings offer a much better infrastructure, both in the classic physical sense and in terms of IT networks. In addition, the new headquarters is equipped with a showroom which not only showcases the latest products, but also their application, using current solution examples. The General Manager of Phoenix Contact Middle East, Iyad Madanat, emphasizes that the new premises creates the right framework for the further development of Phoenix Contact in the booming region of the Middle East, and will for at least the next ten years. The production area in Schieder has recently been expanded again in order to cope with the still-current backlog of orders and in preparation for new tasks (see also page 10 ff.). Of course, the decline in orders from automotive companies has not left the e-mobility subsidiary of Phoenix Contact unscathed. But thanks to the broad product portfolio, which ranges from charging infrastructure to components on and in the vehicle, such fluctuations are not a major problem. On the contrary, it is to be expected that the general shift in mobility towards renewable energies will gain momentum even faster.
