Black Hawk helicopter Super64 flies over the Somali
capital of Mogadishu on its fateful mission, October 3,
1993. Super64 was downed in the battle, and two Delta
Snipers - Randy Shugart and Gary Gordon - were inserted
at their own request to protect the injured crew from an
approaching mob. Shugart and Gordon were killed in that
action, and would be posthumously awarded the
Medal of Honor.
