The Wounded Warrior Experience

A second television special filmed at the 19th Annual Conference, the Wounded Warrior Experience spotlights the inspiring stories of recovery among several service members injured on the front lines in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The program also aired the weekend of Veterans Day on the Fox Business Network.

A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity

“ To put it simply, it was the single most rewarding( experience) I have had at the academy.”- 1 / C M. R. Mason, United States Naval Academy
“ The best thing that ever happened to me at my time here at the academy,” is how one Naval Academy Midshipman described the 19th Annual Conference.
At no other event in the country- even at their own schools- do these future military leaders have the opportunity to learn firsthand from such a variety of heroes and legends of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the present day.
“ This was an excellent event that truly helped my generation by helping inform us off what our futures might hold along with showing us what is expected of us. I take it as an honor to have been able to attend this conference and I cannot be more thankful that I was able to walk side by side to some of the best heroes that America has ever had.”- Cadet Terry Ellis, University of North Georgia
“ I no longer want to fight for myself, but for a greater cause and especially for the veterans that have fought and served before me. I look to them for approval and hope to one day make them proud by honoring them in my service.”- Cadet Ashley Marshall, VA Tech Air Force ROTC
TO OUR WORLD WAR II VETERANS COMMITTEE & AMERICAN VETERANS CENTER SUPPORTERS,
