• The Annual Veterans Conference & National Youth Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for young people to hear directly from veterans who share their lessons , values , experiences , and combat stories . This conference honors every one of those who have sacrificed and given so much for our country .
• The National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D . C . is the largest Memorial Day event in the country and is seen by millions through the national T . V . broadcast . It is a moving historical time line that educates and showcases the sacrifices of all who have served from the Revolutionary War to Iraq and Afghanistan .
• Veteran Video Oral History Project turns first-hand accounts from veterans into high quality , professionally recorded program videos to preserve a veteran ’ s legacy and educate students , teachers and parents on the service and sacrifice of our nation ’ s veterans .
• American Valor Quarterly is a publication that records of first-person accounts by our veterans , many from our WWII veterans . This publication is sent to over 30,000 supporters and 150 veterans ’ hospitals .
• “ Veterans Chronicles ” is a weekly radio series that feature interviews and eyewitness accounts from our veterans and active duty personnel about moments in our American history .
• Television & Documentary Programs like The Honors is the only T . V . show that pays tribute to veterans from the generations of World War II and beyond . The Wounded Warrior Experience program provides a discussion on experiences faced by wounded soldiers from WWII to Iraq and the resources available to them .
• Special Wounded Warrior Programs for injured service members & their families recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center .
