guard the legacy and honor the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and active duty heroes, with quality programs including:
• The Annual Veterans Conference & National Youth Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for
young people to hear directly from veterans who share their lessons, values, experiences, and combat
stories. This conference honors every one of those who have sacrificed and given so much for our
country.
• The National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. is the largest Memorial Day event in
the country and is seen by millions through the national T.V. broadcast. It is a moving historical time
line that educates and showcases the sacrifices of all who have served from the Revolutionary
War to Iraq and Afghanistan.
• Veteran Video Oral History Project turns first-hand accounts from veterans into high quality,
professionally recorded program videos to preserve a veteran’s legacy and educate students,
teachers and parents on the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.
• American Valor Quarterly is a publication that records of first-person accounts by our veterans,
many from our WWII veterans. This publication is sent to over 30,000 supporters and 150 veterans’
hospitals.
• “Veterans Chronicles” is a weekly radio series that feature interviews and eyewitness accounts
from our veterans and active duty personnel about moments in our American history.
• Television & Documentary Programs like The Honors is the only T.V. show that pays
tribute to veterans from the generations of World War II and beyond. The Wounded Warrior
Experience program provides a discussion on experiences faced by wounded soldiers from
WWII to Iraq and the resources available to them.
• Special Wounded Warrior Programs for injured service members & their families
recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
