This conference honors every one of those who have sacrificed and given so much for our country. • The National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. is the largest Memorial Day event in the country and is seen by millions through the national T.V. broadcast. It is a moving historical time line that educates and showcases the sacrifices of all who have served from the Revolutionary War to Iraq and Afghanistan. • Veteran Video Oral History Project turns first-hand accounts from veterans into high quality, professionally recorded program videos to preserve a veteran’s legacy and educate students, teachers and parents on the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. • American Valor Quarterly is a publication that records of first-person accounts by our veterans, many from our WWII veterans. This publication is sent to over 30,000 supporters and 150 veterans’ hospitals. • “Veterans Chronicles” is a weekly radio series that feature interviews and eyewitness accounts from our veterans and active duty personnel about moments in our American history. • Television & Documentary Programs like The Honors is the only T.V. show that pays tribute to veterans from the generations of World War II and beyond. The Wounded Warrior Experience program provides a discussion on experiences faced by wounded soldiers from WWII to Iraq and the resources available to them. • Special Wounded Warrior Programs for injured service members & their families recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. 2 AMERICAN VALOR QUARTERLY
