Recovery from Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Wildfires, and Other
Natural Disasters
World Patent Marketing, a vertically integrated
manufacturer and engineer of patented products,
announced that FIU Professor Dr. Aileen Marty,
an appointee to the President Obama’s Advisory
Council on Combating Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria
and Scott J. Cooper, CEO and Creative Director
of World Patent Marketing, have formed a partnership and filed a patent on the Disaster Communications Drone.
The new drones will be used for disasters and
emergency management. Whether it be a tornado,
hurricane, earthquake, wildfire or other catastrophe, one of the greatest challenges is establishing
communications. With landlines, electricity and cell
towers frequently down, all communication grinds
to a halt.

This is where the Disaster Communications Drones
can be extraordinarily useful and potentially lifesaving. The drones can be used individually or in
groups, to re-establish lines of communications.
The drones can be arrayed over a region, or in a
long line like a daisy chain, to allow communications to reach over long distances.
Partnership will lead to new Disaster Communications Drone
Disaster Communications Drones can provide immediate and essential communication services,
uniting emergency workers with the population as
well as access to emergency alerts and important
news. It has the potential to be a breakthrough lifesaving invention.
