using the hashtag #Se7en on
social media. Only two drivers,
Richard Petty and Dale
Earnhardt, have won seven
championships, and it's a mark
Johnson has been chasing since
he last took the title in 2013,
but there's no rush to prepare
to roll out #Ei8ht.
"I'm not running from it. I'm
not hiding from it," Johnson
said. "Right now for me to do
my job ... it's just not top of
mind. Yes, the championship is,
but it's more about winning the
race."
