AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER GAZETTE
OUR FRONT COVER
When I came across the photo used on the front cover of this issue I was
extremely intrigued - as I hope you are.
My curiosity got the best of me so I did a little investigating; I found
out that it was a dog owned by Clay Fonvielle, and the dog’s name is Osy.
Clay is involved in Obedience Training, his dogs are actively competing
in ADBSI sanctioned weight pulls, and he is in the process of becoming
an ADBA Safe Dog Certified Program Tester for the ADBA Safe Dog
Program as well as applying to become an ADBA Sanctioned Weight Pull
Judge.
This year, the ADBA/ADBSI has several new events to offer individuals
that are interested in doing more athletic performance events with your
ADBA registered dogs (please see page 56 for more details).
There’s no time like the present! If you haven’t already, start getting your
dogs ready to compete in these new events. After all, an active dog is a
happy dog, and happy dogs = happy owners!
