On June 8th, the Salt Lake Terrier Assoc. held a Top
Athletic Dog event with several new events. Dogs had to
be entered in three events to receive points toward the
Top Athletic Dog award.
The ADBA would like to encourage other ADBSI
Sanctioned Clubs to try some of these fun events or even
an entire Top Athletic Dog event to show off the athleticism of these dogs and help raise funds for your club. We
have rules and guidelines available to set up Treadmill
Races, One Mile Run, Drag Weight Races, Agility, and
Wall Climb. The Wall Climb has been a staple event at
the ADBA Sanctioned clubs in Europe for some time.
These events are very exciting; Top Athletic Dog events have the potential to become sanctioned in the future. (Please visit the ADBA Facebook
page for highlights from the SLTA event.)
