OUR FRONT COVER

I love incredible artwork and photographs, and when I saw the photo of
Krupska’s “Rocky Balboa” on Facebook it immediately drew my attention; what
a great representation of the APBT!
The owner, Ekaterina, lives in Russia and also has an Instagram account -
Aventadorpit. The cover photo is one of the hundreds that she has posted online.
You should check out her IG, and follow her.
I hope this issue finds all of you doing well, and getting ready for the upcoming
holiday season. I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed!
I was fortunate to be able to travel quite a bit this year - for business and
pleasure - and one very special person that I met in Oklahoma was this adorable
young lady named Morgain. Her parents aren’t involved in the dogs, so she gets
to travel with their friend, Tye Turner, to events that are close to home.
She sat with the other kids throughout the weekend at the 2019 ADBA Nationals
and picked right up on everything! She knew the dogs’ names,
heights for the wall climb, how fast they were running on
the treadmill, and even got to participate with the kids
during Junior Handlers for conformation and weight
pull. She quickly became my little buddy; this is what
the future of the breed looks like. It only takes one spark
to ignite something positive inside of them.
Merry Christmas to all! Heather DeVito
