She donated it to a raffle, a number of years ago, and we were lucky enough to have it brought back to the A.D.B.A. Office. Memorial article from the August 2018 issue goes to Wayne Sheffer At the beginning of October, Kate Greenwood and I traveled to North Carolina to attend the 2018 ADBA World Nationals. We combined our experiences and shared them with you; see article on page 33. In this day and age of Facebook and social media, it was extremely refreshing to put our phones away, enjoy each other’s company and the company of those who had also traveled to attend ADBA’s National event. There’s something incredible about our “bulldog family”. The feeling that spread throughout the Nationals weekend was that it didn’t matter if you were from the U.S., had moved here, or were visiting from another country; we all have one very important thing in common, and that is the love we have for our breed - the APBT. Thank you for continuing to support our sanctioned clubs, and each other. It’s important that we stay vigilant and strong, and stand together as one. Heather DeVito, Assoc.
