Handy lift redesigns
prove to be “a boon”
Last winter the Handy Lifts division of Sully, Iowa
based manufacturer Janco Industries updated the
design of its market-leading Standard and S.A.M.
1200 Air Lift tables with maintenance-free air
bellows replacing the existing air cylinder.
Since then the response to the changes has been
“excellent” said CEO Joel Jansen when AMD met
with him at the recent Columbus, Ohio, AIMExpo.
“The new safety features have also been well
received. The new design not only simplifies the way
service departments perform maintenance, it also
simplifies the way we are able to produce them –

The redesigned Standard and S.A.M. lifts have an
automatic ratcheting safety mechanism with dual
springs that create a positive lock as the lift is raised.
