Pine Island, Minnesota based Khrome Werks continues to add new high-performance Jim Preisler designs to their 2017 offer, among them these new three-step headers with 4.5” HP- Plus billet tip mufflers for 2017 tourers. Made in 16 gauge stainless steel, they feature 1-3 / 4- 1-7 / 8- 2 inch 3-step primaries, spherical port caps to insure sealing, 18mm and 12mm O2 bungs, interconnect for increased torque, full 2.00” left side cross-over for maximum flow and dual P-Clamp mounting that allows the system to expand freely.
The muffler bodies are 4 ½ inches with 2 inch inlets and have aluminum billet tips with heat resistant black finish, high-flow absorptive baffle with expansion chamber to maximize torque and combination stainless steel and high-temp fiberglass baffle wrap. The system has 2 ½ inch diameter 16 gauge steel heat shields with 220 degree wrap, which are available in highly polished nickel chrome, high temperature proprietary black, or highly polished Eclipse black chrome. The company says that these 2017 tourer systems“ increase horsepower and torque and enhance low frequency and dampened high frequency tones.” Mounting hardware is included with OEM style muffler and header clamps.

Other rake angle solutions are available; the spotlight spacing is wider than stock to allow Headwinds ' 4-1 / 2” Rocket spotlights to clear the fairing. Also shown are their matching Vampire series 2” turn signals and 12 degree raked headlight bezel. The bar fits with stock hardware and detachable windshields; available in chrome, black or polished aluminum.
