HARLEY-DAVIDSON is
leveraging social media to
gauge response to an ice
racing exhibition that the
company sponsored at the
recent X Games at Aspen,
Colorado. Featuring the new
Street 750 with modified
tires, Harley say that the
origins of ice racing can be
dated back to Sweden in
1924, and that archive
pictures in its museum show
enthusiasts racing on frozen
lakes almost a century ago.
SCOTT Fischer Enterprises is to
open a second Harley-Davidson
dealership, in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. Named Duke City HarleyDavidson, the 12,000 square foot
store will be some 10 miles from its
existing Thunderbird HarleyDavidson location and will share its
local Turquoise Trail HOG Chapter.
