Dirico planning international expansion DIRICO Motorcycles, the US custom production motorcycle brand coowned by Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler, is set for international expansion as it targets Europe and the Middle East as it prepares a new model range. Tyler traveled to EICMA, the annual European motorcycle trade show held in Milan, with Dirico President Stephen Talarico, to showcase the range of six motorcycles. Didirco’s model line-up includes three retro-styled machines; the Flyer, Speedster, and Bobber. The bikes are built around softail style frames, the Flyer and Speedster use a Kraft-Tech design, while the Bobber is Dirico’s proprietary offering. Designed with female riders in mind, the Heartbreaker has a frame that situates the rider in a lower, central position. A complete H-D 88ci Twin Cam drivetrain is used, and is dressed with Vance & Hines True Dual exhausts with fish mouth tips. Standard equipment on the Heartbreaker includes white wall tires and hard bags. There are two performance models in the Dirico line-up; the Pro Street and Pro Street Roadster. Once again both have softail style frames, but for these models they are combined with USD forks and 240-section rear tires. A 103ci Twin Cam powers the Pro Street and the Pro Street Roadster gains a Screamin’ Eagle 110 motor.
