PowerDrive 6 for '93-'98 FLTs Imposter for
"untrue" duel
RIVERA Primo first brought its PowerDrive 6
transmission to the market over seven years ago,
introducing them in left- and right-side drive
configurations for Softail style applications.
Today the range includes an FLT style PowerDrive
6 transmission, which is polished and chromed. It fits
‘93-‘98 Touring models and comes completely
assembled with a black wrinkled oil pan and a billet
aluminum oil fill spout that accepts the stock
filler cap. Two versions are available; a
standard offset for stock bikes with stock
width rear tires using a 5/8in swingarm pivot
shaft and a 1/2in offset for customs with wide
tires utilizing a 3/4in pivot shaft.
Like all versions of the PowerDrive 6, the
FLT option has a 32-tooth final drive pulley,
close ratio 2.94:1 first gear; second gear 2.21;
third gear 1.60, fourth gear 1.23; fifth gear
1.00, and 0.860:1
overdrive sixth gear, and
forged and back cut
gears for positive
shifting.

machined from a solid
block of billet, with
cooling fins added for a
‘high speed’ look.

INSTALLED with a SuperTrapp 2-into-1
SuperMeg, the company's Imposter pipe gives
a Bagger model the look of a true dual exhaust.
The Imposter is a non-functioning, cosmetic,
left-side pipe that does not connect to the
2-into-1 head pipe. It mounts at the
transmission bracket and to the stock muffler
mount bracket. The SuperTrapp Imposter pipe
includes twenty 4in discs, a closed end cap and
a heat shield to allow it to visually match the
SuperMeg pipe. The Imposter pipe is available
in chrome or black and fits ’85 – ’13 Baggers.
