W&W extends product range
W&W Cycles has extended its product range to
include replica aluminum rims for post '64 Sportsters
and other H-D models. Manufactured by Classic
Wheels, the duraluminum 7116 T6 rims are drilled
for 40 spokes (except for the 16in version, which
requires special spokes), polished and have a metal
valve in the center. Versions available are a 3 x 16in
for steel hubs; 2.5 x 18in for steel hubs and FX/XL
aluminum hubs 1973 onward; for steel hubs and
FX/XL aluminum hubs 1973 onward with a rim size
of 2.15 x 19in to replaces OEM part 42998-74; and
1.85 x 21in for steel hubs and FX/XL aluminum hubs
1973 onward.
Along with replacement rims, W&W also has 16in
wheels built around a Timken style star hub. The
3x16in are built on to Timken style star hubs for use
on W(L) ‘37-‘52 rear only, E(L)/F(LH) ‘36-‘66, U(LH)
‘37-’48 models. The rims have a rubberized valve on
the side, and accept stock drum brakes. They can be
ordered in a choice of chrome or black powdercoat
finishes with chrome spokes.
The retro-inspired collection of parts at W&W
continues with the Cole Foster grips by Lowbrow
Customs. Designed for use on 1in bars with ’74
onward hand controls, the rubber grips are supplied
in a presentation tin case.
Completing the latest range of new parts and
accessories is the Speed of Color cafe racer tail
section. Designed for use on ’04 and later Sportsters,
the fiberglass piece mounts to shortened original
struts. Supplied unpainted, the unit includes a
stitched seat pad.
The Cole Foster grips by Lowbrow Customs are
supplied in a tin case
