The Progressive Suspension 47mm Fork Preload Adjuster with Fork Spring Kit( Part # 31-5058) is a thread-in front suspension upgrade designed for Harley-Davidson Touring models featuring inverted 47 mm front forks( such as the CVO Road Glide 2023-up and CVO Road Glide ST 2024-up). The kit allows dealers to equip their riders to manually add or decrease fork spring preload without disassembling the forks- providing approximately 20 mm( 0.8 inches) of threaded preload adjustment. Riding benefits include preload to stiffen the front end for aggressive cornering or when riding with a passenger. Riders can decrease preload to soften the ride for comfortable cruising. The kit is compatible with standard ride heights as well as 1 " to 2 " lowered setups. The PS 47 mm Fork Preload Adjuster with Fork Spring Kit allows the user to custom tune the front suspension for any riding condition- coupling with the PS progressively wound fork springs make for a responsive and reliable combination for maximizing riding performance.
It improves handling and performance by simply replacing the stock fork caps and fork springs. It features a red anodized adjustment bolt with 1 / 2 turn detents, ships with a preload hex adjustment soft socket adapter tool included and is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
