Feuling ' s High Load Beehive valve springs with titanium retainers( for M8 2017-2026 with factory style 6 mm valve stems and triple groove) are a direct bolt in replacement, with no spring seat or rocker cover machining required up to 0.565 " lift. These springs will accommodate over 0.600 " cam lift but may require spring seat pocket machining on the cylinder heads to set correct spring open height. These M8 High Load springs are machined from a premium grade Hi-tensile chrome silicon single conical ovate wire, shot-peened with a specially processed thermal heat treat and super NexTex finish. The result is valve springs with the needed open / close pressures to exceed the high demands of V-twin engines from stock to performance. Feuling emphasises that they are only recommended for 0.540 + lift camshafts and RACE style engines. If these valve springs are not set properly, they will create extreme rocker arm deflection( see Feuling 592 /# 1348 or 618 /# 1352 grind cams). These spring kits are each hand measured and labeled specifically based on their coil bind / required open height. The kits require measurement of the installed height and may require use of included shims. " This is so you can set up the springs specifically to your camshaft lift for quieter and smoother performance- similar to tuning the suspension to weight and riding style." They use a smaller lighter weight retainer which drastically reduces the valve weight creating a quicker revving and smoother motion than comparable dual or single valve springs. Feuling says that the kits eliminate valve spring separation, maximize stability, and reduce valve-train noise and harmonics. They are available for 6 mm valves. The kits include: matched set of Feuling High Load Beehive valve springs, Ti retainers, machined spring seats, seat shims, valve locks and a set of premium Viton valve seals equipped with a springloaded valve stem wiper system.
