Fits: 1984-’ 18 HD ® big twins and 1986-’ 19 HD ® Sportster ® models. Kit contains 2 front and 2 rear rocker arms. S & S ® now offers an economical solution for stock rebuilds, and mild performance upgrades. S & S ® standard rocker arms are forged from 8620 steel for greater strength than stock forged or cast steel rocker arms. In addition, they feature the same 3 / 4” long rocker shaft bushings that our S & S ® roller rocker arms do. Thousands of hours of engine testing have proved them to be superior to other non-roller rocker arms. The 3/4” long bronze bushings provide 50 % more load bearing area than the 1/2” long bushings used in stock and other aftermarket rocker arms

1966-’ 84 big twins SH-Series engines. S & S ® rocker arms for shovelhead engines are machined from 8620 steel forgings and heat treated for maximum strength. The forgings are designed to eliminate stress points and provide the strongest, most durable rocker arm possible. These roller rocker arms also feature the exclusive. 750” long S & S ® rocker arm bushings, with 50 % more load bearing surface than stock. 500” bushings. An oil passage from the pushrod cup of the rocker arm to the inside of the rocker arm body allows top-end oiling through the pushrods when used in conjunction with S & S ® billet tappet guides and S & S ® Quickee pushrods. Oiling can also be done through the stock 1966-’ 84 external oiling system. Nominal rocker ratio of 1.5:1. The roller tip reduces valve tip wear and side loading of the valve stem in high lift applications. S & S ® roller rocker arms are compatible with S & S ® billet and stock rocker boxes. Some clearancing may be required when using stock rocker boxes.

55MM performance manifold
Big bore engines are all about the flow, more air in and more air out, anything that slows that down, robs horsepower. The factory M8 intake manifold does a decent job in stock form, but starts getting in the way when trapped between 124” and larger cylinders. The stock polymer unit is also less tolerant of the additional heat that a big bore engine can make at full noise. The solution is the new S & S high flow cast aluminum manifold and a must have for top level performance in the M8 platform.

S & S Cycle has upped our intake game with a new M8 manifold and leveraged a 5-Axis CNC machining center for the ultimate in consistent shape and flow characteristics. Knowing polished porting has little impact on the intake side, we’ ve machined a uniformly spaced and shaped texture that not only creates a larger surface area to encourage fuel dissipation, but also superior atomization of the fuel air mixture. The S & S Cycle CNC ported manifold fits all 55mm throttle bodies and works excellent with factory as well as ported heads.
