Billet cuffs allow excessive lifter rotation / rocking which can lead to axle / roller failure as the lifter is naturally trying to roll off the camshaft lobe. It only takes a few degrees of rotation for the lifter roller to stop spinning. Features include increased clearances for larger lift cam shafts, and they are able to use with up to the Feuling 618 camshaft without modification. The factory only allows for up to ~ 0.540 lift.
