This will always sound like odd news to be reporting if you are " of a certain age ", but Ducati ' s newly formed Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Supercross and Pro Motocross team will make its Supercross debut on January 10 in Anaheim. Ducati made its U. S. motocross debut in July 2025 at the MXGP Championship. Ducati will make its Supercross debut in Anaheim, California, in January.
H-D says its 2025 Let ' s Ride Challenge- Ride for Heroes saw more than 29,000 participants log 83.4 million miles on Harley-Davidson motorcycles as they collectively celebrated our nations ' military, veterans, and first responders. By easily breaking the 50-million mile barrier, participants activated a $ 1m donation by Harley to organizations that support those heroes.

The Motorcycle Riders Foundation( MRF) in the United States has announced the formal nomination of MRF Vice President Jay Jackson of Indiana to serve on the U. S. Department of Transportation ' s Motorcyclist Advisory Council( MAC). Jay has been nominated for the seat reserved for a representative of a national motorcyclist organisation. Honda is investing further into its North Carolina ATV manufacturing plant, with a $ 10m expansion, aimed at boosting the in-house made component content, facility and equipment modernizations and additional staff skills training. Honda also points to its green credentials citing this investment as part of its plans to further reduce Honda ' s global carbon footprint.
LeMans Corporation to Acquire Sullivans Inc
In a move designed to strengthen the Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited, Janesville, Wisconsin based parent company ' s position as the " go-to distributor for the powersports industry ", LeMans Distribution is to acquire Sullivans Inc. Founded in 1972 and headquartered near Boston( Hanson, Ma.) with additional distribution facilities in Alabama and Reno, Nevada, owner Bobby Sulivan has carved a powerful niche in the US, selling ' Steet and Snow ' helmets, gear and apparel. Known as a leading HJC helmet, Nelson Rigg and O ' Neal brand distributor, Sullivans added the Robison Joe Rocket, Rapid Transit and Power Trip brands in 2009.
For the first 9 months of 2025, the MIC is reporting that among leading brands, sales of new motorcycles and scooters decreased-7.3 % through the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period the previous year. ATVs decreased-2.2 % among leading brands. The already relatively small US Scooter segment is under the greatest pressure, with YTD sales( to September 30, 2025) down by-31.8 % YOY at 9,169 units(-4,280 for the period). The end of October saw S & S Cycle regretfully announcing the passing of Tim Osterberg on October 28. Tim started with S & S Cycle in November of 2021 as Vice President of New Product Development & Methods and in that role made significant contributions to new and current products. Tim was a leader, serving on the S & S Senior Management Team and as a mentor to many of the engineers in Product Development and Core Product Engineering. His longstanding involvement with the motorcycle industry made him an incredible asset to the departments he worked within.

Before passing, he actively identified a potential successor, Scott Cain. Tim will be sorely missed not only by the S & S team and family, but also by the many others ' lives touched throughout his time on Earth.
