Harley-controlled, and 89 % owned LiveWire has filed for a possible $ 100m securities sale. While this doesn ' t mean that a capital raise is imminent, the filing said the company " may offer and sell securities with an aggregate value of up to $ 100m from time to time through one or more offerings." The securities that LiveWire said are possibilities for future offerings include common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. Former Harley CEO Jochen Zeitz had previously stated that they were " evaluating all options " for its investment in LiveWire but does not plan to provide additional investments in LiveWire beyond a $ 100m line of credit they agreed to in early 2024. LiveWire recorded $ 8.6m in net revenue with an operating loss of $ 38.9m the first six months of this year. The company said it sold 88 electric motorcycles in the first half of 2025 compared with 275 in the same period of 2024. LiveWire derived 85 % of its revenue in the first half of 2025 from selling its STACYC brand electric balance bikes for kids.
