M8 Billet Cam Chain Tensioner Assembly with Premium Pad
The Feuling billet cam chain tensioner assembly for M-Eight engines( 2017-2025) replaces the factory cast unit with a precision CNC machined 6061 billet housing and premium replacement tensioner pad. The pads are made from injection molded Nylon with added Teflon( PTFE) to increase wear and friction resistance. These tensioners are single piston, duplicating the output pressure of stock units, and ship with ARP 12-point hardware. Feuling ' s replacement tensioner pad, pin and bolt works with the factory aluminum housing and hydraulic unit and includes the pad, retaining pin and button head screws. Replacing the stock unit M8 cam chain tensioner assembly with a design and specification that will improve durability, reliability, performance and service life. The stock rocker arms have different ratios of allowance from our upgraded S & S Cycle Rocker Arms. If you choose to leave them stock( we ' re not sure why you would, but you could) the HPT496 will have a lift of. 485, which is the limit for bolt-in lift.
