As of June 20, the German market will see Parts Type Approval replace parts certificates. Turn signals, brake systems, exhausts, footrests, and suspension elements are affected, with the Federal Motor Transport Authority( KBA) saying that the previous parts certificates may no longer be certified by technical services such as testing laboratories and certification bodies. Instead, manufacturers must apply for a national parts type approval from the KBA. The KBA points out that manufacturers who already had a general operating permit( ABE)( fivedigit code " KBA xxxxx ") can continue to use it. Parts approved with a national parts type approval can be identified by the six-digit code " KBA xxxxxx." After a transitional period of three years, parts certificates may be used exclusively for individual approvals in accordance with Section 21 of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations( StVZO) starting June 20, 2028. Parts certificates for vehicle parts already installed in vehicles remain valid / B & B.

It was back in 2023 that Bill Mevin ' s Grand Rapid, Michigan-based Buell revealed the prototypes for its SuperTouring and Super Cruiser motorcycle models. Now both models have been confirmed for production later in 2025 and Buell has confirmed the first of their technical details. Both bikes are built around the same 1,190 cc V-twin that ' s at the heart of all Buell ' s current bikes, but in different specs. In the USA, the price will start at $ 25,900. The SuperTouring, by contrast, uses a cast aluminium, fuel-in-frame chassis closer in style to the design used on Buell ' s Hammerhead superbike and 1190SX roadster, tracing the roots of its construction way back to the Buell XB9R of 2002. Paired to side-mounted radiators that help keep the wheelbase short, it makes for a more compact bike than most sports tourers. In this bike, the engine is tuned to 185 hp and 102 lbft of torque, while weight is just 199 kg wet without the luggage fitted. At a
