focused on your goals and objectives.
They’re an example to the business
community showing us how to grow
and scaling your business while still
maintaining your sanity. They’ve kept
their business model simple and kept
their customer service the best in the
industry.
American Latino Magazine would like
to congratulate this family for always
stepping up to the plate when they see
families and people in need. Locally
both Bob and his wife Carolyn are the
quietest most humble people you will
ever meet. They never ask for recognition and many a time give anonymously.

D’Angelos Continue
Their Family Legacy
S
ince the early 90’s, the D’Angelo Brothers have continued
their success that started back
in 1945 with their father Art
D’Angelo Sr working for 3M. Later
on in 1956 like many of today’s entrepreneurs that want to venture on their
own, Art Sr. purchased a small paint
store which he operated with his wife
Betty in Glendale, California.
That was over half a century ago.
Today, that small mom and pop shop
grew into an enterprise with stores
across the state of California and
Nevada.
Bob and Art Jr. came on board the
family business in 1965 to operate
their San Francisco stores. Both Art
Jr. and Bob learned the business very
fast by traveling throughout the state
helping to manage the family stores.
The D’Angelos opened their store
in Oxnard in 1972 and in 1975 Bob
relocated to the area to run the shop.
The store currently located off Wooley
and Commercial Avenue has served as
a staple in our community. They not
only run their business with integrity, they’ve employed hundreds of
local residents, some which have been
working with them for decades.

They are and always will be an example
and mentors to many that will follow
in their footsteps in entrepreneurship.

Working with family is not easy, but
the D’Angelos have shown to entrepreneurs what is possible when you can
keep that bond strong and stay laser
