With the ever-increasing online web of resources, it is soothing to know that there are concerted efforts to elevate and develop resources for circus educators within the virtual context. We are living in a world where it is critical that our community rises to the occasion to address the reality of the online world. Paired with this, there is simply nothing better than actually being in the room with one another. I encourage you to consider attending our 2018 American Circus Educators Conference in Decatur, GA. Four days of in person gathering—keynotes, workshops, networking, and building relationships that will last for the duration of your professional life in circus education. Many pivotal connections have been made at this event, and I can confidently say that the benefits of attending will ripple for years to come. It is an honor to be in community with all of you—both virtually via the many innovations developing every day, and in real time when we gather to share wisdom.
