Today’ s route leads to the mysteriously beautiful Crater Lake National Park. Surrounded by sheer cliffs nearly 2,000 feet high Crater Lake itself is deep, pure and astoundingly blue, so little wonder that it’ s hailed as one of the seven wonders of Oregon. Just outside Bend is the Newberry Crater National Monument, a geological and recreational wonderland whose landscape is embellished with volcanoes, ancient lava floes, dazzling lakes and a labyrinth of underground caverns( 185 miles).

This Oregonian city will spoil you with family-fun museums, exquisite art galleries, relaxing spas, awardwinning dining and thrilling outdoor adventures. Aside from the nearby volcanic wonders, discover also cascading waterfalls, including stately Tumalo Falls.
