Indian Challenger Heat Shield Liners

DEI precision CNC-cuts each piece for a perfect fit in between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield , blocking heat transfer and lowering the surface temperatures of the outer shield . Easy to install , with no permanent modifications needed , the aluminum and proprietary Dura 2000 dual layer insulating material construction is said to offer a 60 % reduction in heat . " Heat from the exhaust system can become uncomfortable , especially riding in slow traffic ," says DEI ' s Powersports Manager John Gabriel .
