Welcome to the very first issue of Mortgage Focus , we hope our publication will reach out to all of you working in or associated with the mortgage market .
We aim to publish in-depth news , analysis and comment on a particular topic each month and scale down global issues with the effects they have on England and Wales .
As this is our first ever issue we take a look back at what ’ s happened in the market so far this year . There will be a magnified interest on specialist lending , including a breakdown of bridging finance qualities and industry comments on the effects Brexit may have on our economy .
With the implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive rules from the Financial Conduct Authority ( FCA ) we analyse the effects of its key regulation on today ’ s buy-to-let market , as well as a company review of FCA approved brokerage , Pink Pig Loans .
