There in the forest, Jimmy found a clear path.
“It’ll be okay once we find the next town,” Jimmy insisted.
“You think so Jimmy? What if the people don’t like us there too?” Aubrey asked.
“Then I will never give up finding a new home for us,” Jimmy promised.
Though nothing was for sure, it didn’t stop the children from hoping. For it didn’t matter where they went, so long as they were together.
