FAIRIES OF HERBAVILIA, I channelled this text whilst thinking about
how to present our project to the world.
One day Fairy Methina revealed herself to me and
said: “Draw us, Fairies of the Herbs and tell the
children of the Earth that we need help.
Ask Mothers and Fathers of the Earth to plant a herb,
a tree, a flower. Ask your children if they see us. We
cannot do it alone. Not anymore. Mother Earth is
crying for your help.
We need to reveal ourselves.
Draw us on pillows, on teapots, make toys. Alongside
every little product put a healthy seed of one plant.
Let the children take care of this little plant. Together
with them watch it grow.
Write a book and share our stories.
Ask your grandmothers. They still know about our
healing powers. We can do it together. Tell your
children about us. Tell them we are tender and tiny,
yet our remedies are strong and powerful. But they
already know that.
They just need to remember it.
Children, teach your mothers to be thankful when
they put Thyme in your soup, when they make tea
out of Hibiscus. For when you, humans, are thankful,
then our remedies are even more powerful.
Teach humanity that we are one with nature.
Tell them to find their natural rhythm, for it is the
rhythm of the Earth.
We are all one. We cannot exist without each other.
We are one chain.
Plant a tree. Plant a herb. Keep it alive. Keep us alive.
We are the guardians of the plants.
We are fairies. We give healing power to every plant
on Earth. We are here to maintain natural balance.
