ALUNA TEMPLE MAGAZINE Edition No2 'HONOURING LIFE' | Page 7
The Shambhala warriors know they can do this because the weapons are manomaya, mind-made. This is
very important to remember!
These weapons are made by the human mind! So they can be unmade by the human mind!
The Shambhala Warriors know that the dangers that threatens life on Earth does not come from evil
deities or extraterrestrial powers or any evil deities, or preordained evil fate, but they arise, from our own
choices, our own lifestyles, our own relationships. Shambhala Warrior is aware of this so he takes a
profound Warrior Training.
'How do they train?'
'They train in the use of two weapons.'
'What are those weapons? I asked.
And he held up his hands the way the lamas hold
the ritual objects of dorje and bell, as they dance.
The Weapons are
COMPASSION and INSIGHT!
Both are necessary, he said.

You have to have compassion because it gives you the juice, the power, the passion to move; when you
open to the pain of the world you move, to act on behalf of other beings. But that weapon by itself is not
enough. It can burn you out, so you need the second as well, which is insight into the dependent co-arising
of all things. It lets us see that the battle is not between good people and bad people, for the line between
good and evil runs through every human heart. We realize that we are interconnected, as in a web, and
that each act with pure motivation affects the entire web, bringing consequences we cannot measure or
discern.
By itself, insight may appear too cool, too conceptual, to sustain you and keep you moving, so you need
the heat of the compassion, our openness to the world's pain.
Together, within each Shambhala Warrior and among the Shambhala Warriors themselves both Weapons
are necessary to the Shambhala warrior.'
The 'Shambhala Warriors Prophecy is taking its place NOW and its time to respond! Its time to open our
hearts and claim the weapons of the spiritual warrior in the healing of our world! Compassion and Insight
will sustain us as we move through life as agents of social change as Shambhala Warriors.
Shambhala Warriors our TIME is NOW!' …
