Vegetable juice
Vegetable juice is a wonderful pick-me-up that I often use in times of
stress, as well as for detoxification purposes. It has abundant antioxidants,
carotenoids, enzymes, minerals and vitamins.
Sauerkraut juice
This food has been used as a remedy in my home country of Poland by
countless generations. It is rich in probiotic bacteria, which is why I make
sure I drink it when I catch a cold or a stomach bug. Sauerkraut juice is also
appreciated for its anticarcinogeni and anti-inflammatory properties.
Oats
Oats are a great food in times of stress as they have a calming effect on the nervous system.
Ginger
This is my absolute favourite. It reduces nausea in early pregnancy, helps ease indigestion, and increases
muscle recovery and reduces cramping and soreness after exercise. It is also an anti-inflammatory, and

Chia seeds
I love these seeds for their soothing effect on the digestive system and their high levels of omega 3. They
have been found to stabilise blood sugars levels, aid digestion and boost energy levels.
