'Creating Red Tents & Connecting Women Circles'
Red Tents came to Life as an echo of my attendance at the Wild Song Camp in England. My first time ever
circle of women. Carolyn Hillyer and 120 women from seven countries gathered in the mists of Dartmoor
and our journey started with the song 'Blessed Be The Blood'.
This gathering touched me profoundly and having experienced the grace of singing and sharing with
women I longed to share this experience with other women. Small circles latter expanded into Red tents
gatherings on a Dark Moon.
Red tents as a possibility for women to come home where they can sit, rest, share and exchange stories of
our mothers and grandmothers, our personal stories of grief and loss, stories of possibilities and
celebrations of our dreams and visions.
Red Tents as a possibility to reconnect with our wombs, our Moon Cycle and earth to weave threads of
sisterhood, share life, gifts and be nurtured in the circle of women.
With each Red Tent I offer I come to conclusion that women circles are truly a MUST and hope that more
and more women become inspired to hold them. My intention is to continue creating them on my travels
and to make bridges between Women Circles of the world.
