NUHS to Host Healthy Kids Open House May 13
National University of Health Sciences will host its first annual Healthy Kids Open House, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Invite your friends and bring your children to this free event. This is a perfect event for parents interested in learning and exploring natural approaches to keep their children in optimal health. Throughout the day, our naturopathic, chiropractic and oriental medicine experts will host activities, kid-friendly classes and demonstrations for both children and adults to enjoy. Sign up for the 5K Run/Walk for Naturopathic Medicine – Sunday, June 4, 2017
The Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ILANP) will host the second annual 5K Fun Run/Walk at National University of Health Sciences to raise awareness and advocacy support for naturopathic medicine. This year, the 5K event will feature a health fair that includes short lectures and easy-to-follow DIY demonstrations about natural medicine one can use at home. This portion of the event is free and open to the public.
The 5K run will begin at 9:00am at National University circling through Madison Meadow Park back to the university. Registration is $35 before May 21 and $40 afterwards. NUHS Partners With UWS to Expand CE Offerings
National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) and University of Western States (UWS) have agreed to combine resources to expand continuing education (CE) opportunities for health care providers.
The new agreement will allow each university to expand CE offerings and serve a larger pool of health care practitioners and students in a more efficient manner. Both universities will develop a shared calendar for programs that will include online courses along with new live and pre-recorded webinars. National University will provide CE licensing for all coursework. Read More
