Alumni News 1950s Dr. Titus Plomaritis (’57) - Marquis Who’s Who proudly presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Titus Plomaritis, Sr. Author, Chiropractor (Retired) Plomaritis Family Foundation 1970s Dr. Lewis, ’71, owns private practice in Aurora, Colorado, and has published several articles on GPA Methodology. Dr. Jan Corwin, ’76, practiced in Oakland, California from 1978 to 2006, and currently is retired and living in northern New Jersey. Additionally, he has served as past-president of the ACA Council on Sports Injuries, as a member of the U.S. Olympic medical (Seoul ’88), and on several professional sports teams. Most recently, he has taught Anatomy & Physiology and Nutrition at Passaic County Community College, and Montclair State University, primarily to nursing majors. 1980s First Chiropractic Centers, PC (FCC), in South Dakota led by Thomas Stotz,’79, was recognized by the Compliance Team as the first chiropractic organization to achieve Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition (PCMH) for all six of its locations. Dr. Jolliot Chantal, ’80, published several articles in chiropractic journals, including Chiropractic History and The Chiropractic Journal of Australia. Also, published several books on chiropratic in French: La force vitale au cœur des principes de la chiropraxie, La chiropraxie, une méthode reconnue et méconnue and La chiropraxie, méthode et profession à part entière. 1990s Dr. Matt Kowalski, 90’, published a paper in the Global Advances in Health and Medicine. Dr. Jerrilyn Cambron, ’91, delivered the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association keynote address on Oncology Massage Research in April 2019, in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Daniel J. Agona, ’95, practices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Agona Center of Wellness providing different types of chiropractic adjustments, physical rehab, and massage therapy. Dr. Ralph Kruse, ’90, is preparing to celebrate 30 years in private practice. He started working as an Assistant Professor at the Keiser University College of Chiropractic in West Palm Beach, Florida, and received the honor of being the first attending clinician at the student clinic at (The) Keiser University Spine Care Clinic. 2000s Dr. Rosemary Batanjski, ’01, owned her own practice for 18 years in Warren, Michigan and retired in 2015. In 2016, she cofounded the non-profit organization Women Chiropractors® with 7,377 current active members. In 2018, she hosted the Women Chiropractors Convention in Orlando, Florida, and was awarded by her peers as Women Chiropractor of the Year. Dr. Nicholas Nowicki, ’05, welcomed a baby girl to the family in February 2019. Drs. Joshua & Valerie Hover, ’08, opened a new practice, Hover Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, in April 2019. 2010s Dr. Allison Arvin, ’11, welcomed a baby girl to the family in May 2019. Dr. Joseph Blum, ’11, welcomed a baby girl to the family in March 2019. Dr. Ashley Burkman, ’11, welcomed twin babies to the family in May 2019. 9
