FROM THE VICE CHANCELLOR
I am delighted to be part of the first digital Alumni Magazine. It is yet another first for USIU-Africa!
We recently welcomed the class of 2017 to our alumni community during the 39th Commencement Ceremony and I would like to reiterate that our alumni are our best assets and ambassadors.
I am very proud of USIU-Africa alumni. Over the years and world over, USIU-Africa alumni are positively impacting the world.
As highlighted in our mission, our alumni have been well prepared to contribute effectively and ethically as citizens of a changing and increasingly technological world.
During the recently launched Affinity Evenings, I have been very pleased to meet alumni and hear how USIU-Africa contributed to their lives as well as the impact they are having in society. One outstanding experience was interacting with the 2016 CNN Multichoice Journalist of the Year Award winner Ms. Asha Mwilu and learning more about how she is impacting the society with the knowledge she acquired at USIU-Africa.
Let me invite you to engage with us and share the great things you are doing. We would also like to share with you current issues and growth plans for your alma mater. Together we will achieve our vision to be the premier institution of academic excellence with a global perspective.
