Alumni Career Stories
Interview preparation sessions give Queen’s School of Business
students exposure to behavioural, finance, case-based, and other
types of interviews in preparation for recruiting. Your participation
provides students with the opportunity to gain practical interview
experience in a low-risk setting. Interviews take place throughout the
academic year, and will be based on your industry.
Video interviews with alumni provide students with current career
information and allow us to promote our career-related workshops
to students. Share your career stories by providing new or additional
information related to your current position and company.
Participants are asked questions pertaining to experiences and
insights on the following topics:
Panel Discussions
Share your insights on various industry topics with students as they
begin to consider their career paths. Panels are organized based on
industry, and present an excellent opportunity for students to assess
their “fit” into a sector. Panels run throughout the academic year and
are generally followed by a networking exchange.

The Business Career Centre has created several channels for interacting
with QSB alumni both online and in-person. My interactions with students
and alumni have fostered relationships which have helped my current
employer recruit great talent into the organization. I have also been able to
leverage the Queen’s School of Business network and it has provided me with
an opportunity to give back to the school.
