Progression: an achievement by itself

(Cosford) Cadet Turner took
part in javelin for the squadron. Unfortunately she came
last, but the fact that she
won gold in Inter-Wing for
the squadron is excellent and
that she progressed through
to Inter-Region is great!
“Members
of
other
squadrons were hard to
beat” she said. She also said
that “it was a scary experience” knowing that the burden to win was on her shoulders.
Regions events, she was the
only member of the squadron to progress from InterWing and take part in the
javelin throw. Not forgetting,
she still made it into the Inter-Region event which is an
achievement by itself..●
