The 3822 Smart phone App
The 3822 App is for those cadets who
have smart phones. The App would serve
as a back up of their list of achievements.
The 3822 App is not an official document
because it will never replace the F3822a
as a document, but is is officially endorsed by the Headquarters Air Cadet.
The benefit of this App is if the F3822
gets lost or damaged beyond repair, the
App offers you one way of getting the
information back easily. The 3822 App is
an electronic back up of the activities the
cadet has completed. There is no personal information kept on the App.
Adding extra value, the Air Cadets magazine will be put on the App. This is a
massive benefit in itself. This provides a
medium for the magazine to reach cadets.
This will not replace the paper copy nor
the electronic version, but simply be another option for cadets. As everyone
knows it is important, for cadets to have
access to the information that the magazine has in it. Moreover, if you have the
App it automatically updates the newest
version of the Air Cadets magazine on the
day it is released.
Cadet of the Month – February
Congratulations to Cadet Collins on achieving
Cadet of the Month. She was chosen by the
NCO team for showing great enthusiasm and
commitment in all cadet activities.
Also, she has been able to demonstrate her
skills well in the recent sports events and has
achieved very high standards, being selected
to play at regional level.
As well as this, at the recent hockey trials she
was able to give a very good tutorial to other
less skilled cadets, some of who were older
than her.
Well done!!
At the moment the App is on sale for
£2.99. After Apple take their cut, the
money generated is £1.82 which covers
development costs, maintenance costs and
future development of further Apps.
