We will remember them By Cadet A. Killeen During 2nd and 3rd November, the squadron helped the Royal British Legion sell poppies in Albrighton Garden Centre. The day before the parade, cadets sold poppies to the people of Albrighton and helped to clean and prepare the War Memorial for the following day. blasting out “The great escape”. Keeping the RAF, Veterans and the rest of the parade in step, we marched down to the memorial where Reverend J. Warren led the service. It was filled with hymns, moving prayers and many wreaths were laid for those who have given life and limb for our country. Then after marching On the 10th of to St. Mary’s Church, the November the squadron whole parade entered the met at the Crown car park, church for a service. The church was filled to the brim. A few cadets said a few words during the service. Following the end of the service, the parade marched to The Royal British Legion for a salute. After falling out, people who attended entered the building for refreshments. ?
